I saw you in my dreams

My dreams are the only place in which you are beside me, the only stories that I can still talk about,

the moments that keep your memory alive, my dreams are not mine, are yours.

 

Yesterday I saw you in my dreams, I don’t remember how you looked, but I know that it was about you, because it felt in some type of way.

 

I woke up with hundreds of thoughts, looking for you by my side,

but you weren’t there,

it’s been a long time since you haven’t been there.

 

I tried to sleep again, trying to forget how I felt,

but hundred of questions filled my mind, the biggest of them’ all was

if you thought about me tonight.

 

Today I saw you in my dreams again, I was watching from afar.

Wishing to be the one holding your hand, and the one making you laugh.

 

Trying to remember your voice, I made my way all to you.

I could feel your eyes burning in my skin,

the heat all over my face was taking control of me.

 

Even in my dreams I could feel all those emotions that being with you causes me.

My heart beating in my ears,

and my face covered with the color of your dress when we first met.

 

I’ve been dreaming of you for so long,

that now I wait for the night to see you again.

Sometimes my dreams come true

and I can truly catch a glimpse of you.
